I think we might get to see Sideon again on Friday as we move all of our junk down to CA. I'm soo excited to see him and Scott again! Yay! I know, I know, I haven't even blogged yet about the first time we got together. I think about doing it often, does that count?
Anyway, we have been really busy throwing stuff out and even having a garage sale. It has been really hard but very healing. Some of the things really rip my heart out, like finding Father's Blessings we had written down afterward (which I kept), while others aren't quite so hard to see again, like The Garden music CD (we did toss that one - I never did listen to it). Either way it has been a healing process for both Gluby and I.
P.S. I love getting letters in the mail, especially when I'm not expecting to. Thanks FFG, it made my day!

No - thank you! :)
I hope you made a killing at your garage sale. When I have one & people start buying my crap, I look around for more stuff to unload.
I love garage sales, too. I have a sentimental streak, so sometimes it is hard!
Lemon,
There is nothing wrong with Father's blessings. You don't need any kind of authority to give them other than being a father. Don't let the LDS church sour you on those. Keep them if its not too late.
Lemon :)
What do you mean, "MIGHT"?
We are so looking forward to seeing you and Gluby and your sons.
Hey BR - come on over, too :) We'll do a proper round of sangria.
FFG - we didn't make a killing, but it was something. And we got rid of a lot of junk. I mean, really good stuff.
Loralee - I have a sentimental streak as well, but it's gone out the window and I'm not holding back! :)
BR - Oops, I didn't mean to give the impression that I threw those out. I kept those, but they were hard to find because of the torn feelings I have about the church and my family. I will always cherish those blessings because I know they were given with love. I appreciate that you cared enough to worry about that. Thanks.
Um, I meant "mighty?"
See you tomorrow!
Sangria? Honey, I want some!
I am so flippin' J-E-A-L-O-U-S that you get to spend time with Sid!
I hope you and Gluby have fun. I wanted to send a smooch your way and let you know that I'm back... :) Yes, be afraid.
MWAH!
Hey, give me a holler when you're in CA and getting together. We're about 2.5-3 hours from SF, but we can make a day trip of it.
And I totally want in if you're meeting up with Sid, too!
(Yes, I've been too lazy to plan something.)
I would totally *love* to meet up with you. I'll send you an email with my info so we can get in touch!
Here I am stuck in the SF airport at 10pm Friday night. I only have myself to blame as I booked my tickets, but I thought I was booking a 9pm flight to SLC but instead booked a 9am (as in next day) flight.
And, apparently there are NO flights to SLC from SF after 8pm, not even connected thru vegas or phoenix.
So I'm stuck. I thought about calling Sid, but he lives too far away and didn't want to impose.
Oh well.
Oh, BR, I'm sorry! Airports are not comfortable at all, especially when you are there all night. You should have called Sid. He and Scott have the most comfortable bed in their guest bedroom!
I hope the night wasn't too long for you and that the last leg of your flight went well. Now if you could just come down a little further south next time....
BELATED RESPONSE TO BR:
"Impose"? Good GAWD, man. Call any time. "Impose." I'm harumphing over here.
Lots of luck with the move! Do you have relatives who can watch your boys?
